Warm Biscotti

I wake up, get up, drink green kamut, make coffee, put biscotti in the toaster oven on toast, light. Oh yeah, I love biscotti warm, not hot but warm. Joanne likes it at room temp with coffee. I like to warm it, being careful not to really toast it, just watching so it heats through but doesn't cook. It gets that homemade, just from the oven taste, yum! A great way to start the day, then I do my yoga routine, go to work and don't get hungry until lunch.

Sugar-free and scrumptious

Have you ever had sugar-free baked goods that taste really good? It is rare to find yummy cookies that taste as good as those with sugar. Joanne Holmberg has created the most wonderful sugar-free biscotti in several flavors that taste as good as her biscotti with sugar. I am delighted with the texture and flavor she manages to pack into each sugar-free treat and with less calories I can eat more! I just had a plain biscotti and a dark chololate with my morning cup of coffee, both sugar-free and both delicioso, I feel so lucky to have Joanne as my Kailua Gourmet neighbor.
